FAQ
Q. What's a documentary edit?
While the best moments will be included in your highlight film with snippets of vows and speeches having this documentary edit ensures that you will have all the great footage captured throughout the day. The final length is normally 20-30 minutes but this depends on how the day pans out. We'll put in as much good footage as possible.
Q. Do you provide the full ceremony?
The main parts of the wedding ceremony will be included in full with audio for the processional (walking down the aisle) the officiant welcome, any guest readings, the vows and ring exchange. If there's a special song or similar we can add this in too.
Will there be one or two videographers on the day?
The majority of the weddings we cover only require one Videographer to be there on the day. Working alone helps to keep the footprint on your wedding day to a minimum. All our filming and editing is done in-house by Paul & Aileen. If you're planning a larger wedding or require additional coverage on the day then both Paul & Aileen will be there on the day.
Q. Do you choose the music?
Music is central to our work so ultimately we choose the music. All of the music we use is licensed which means you can share your video online without any copy right infringements. There will be an opportunity on the lead up to your wedding to chat through your music preferences. We often incorporate a favourite track or the couples first dance song into the full day documentary edit.
Q. Do you cover both bride and groom preparations?
This depends on the package you choose. We normally cover bride preparations then get to the ceremony venue 30-40 minutes before it starts, so things are nicely balanced between the bride and groom on the morning of your wedding. If both parties are getting ready at the same location we can cover both bride and groom preparations no problem. We can cover groom preparations (within a 10 miles radius from the bride) at an additional cost.
Q. Do we need to meet in person before our big day?
While we’d love to meet with every couple in person prior to their big day it's just not practical or necessary. We're always emailing back and forth with couples from the initial contact stage and then schedule a call on the final lead up to the day. If you are living abroad we're always happy to set up a video call prior to booking.
Q. Is there a deposit?
Yes, a deposit payment of £300 required to secure your date.
We hope this helps for now but if there's anything we’ve missed please get in touch and we'll respond as soon as possible.
